HUBZone Certification awarded to Rapid Application Group

Rapid Application Group, LLC is proud to announce that it has earned the HUBZone certification from the Small Business Administration. To be eligible for the HUBZone certification, the applicant firm be a small business by Small Business Association standards, be owned and controlled at least 51% by U.S. citizens, or a Community Development Corporation, an agricultural cooperative, or an Indian tribe, have a primary location within a “Historically Underutilized Business Zone,” which includes lands considered “Indian Country” and military facilities closed by the Base Realignment and Closure Act, and at least 35 percent of its employees must also reside in a HUBZone.

The U.S. Government encourages small businesses to locate in and hire employees from economically disadvantaged areas of the United States. Companies participating in the HUBZone program will receive largely competitive advantages in winning federal contracts. By law, the Federal Government has to award a percentage of all contracts to HUBZone qualified businesses.
